OK. In case you haven't noticed not a lot of work has been put into presentation. But that's because I'm a lazy ... person.

So yeah. I just got back from my third (and last!) year at CTYI! It's so sad! I miss it already!

First, let me run through courses taken!

99 (July, Session 2) - Creative Writing A (CWAJUL)

00 (July, Session 2) - Legal Studies (LSJUL)

01 (July, Session 2) - Psychology (PSYJUL)

So I'm a second sessioner!? Wanna make something of it?!

My first year I was a commuter. Which was horrible. Remember kids, commuting from South Dublin to CTYI may sound like fun, but it ISN'T! AT ALL! I was in the same RA group as such infamous little kiddies as E-man, Thom, Phil, Matt, Cillian, Enda and Adam. That was the Psychology class of 99. If you don't know who they are, you're either not from CTYI, or you didn't talk to many people there. My class was fun. It had people like Chris, Blair, Becky, Kevin and other brilliant people who were fantastic! The atmosphere was incredible and the food was terrible!

My second year I was residential. I shared a room with none other than THE Jimi and a guy called Seokho. In my RA group there was a young rapscallion (who everyone knows and loves) called Jonah. It was this year that the nickname Sven appeared. If anyone remembers the Sveedish army... well... good for you! Now please forget it. Please. In my class were two incredibly cool people that I kept in good contact with. Grace and Hugh. They are very cool people and I think they deserve special mention for being two of the best friends I made from CTYI! The food was terrible.

During the period between 2000 and 2001 I, thanks to the internet and reunions, met a ton of new people (all somehow connected with CTYI and all really great people). People like Jess (the first CTYIer who wasn't Ian, who contacted me via ICQ), Deirdre, Susan, Kate, Chloe, James Connelly, FIO, Eamon, Morgan, Bob, Carolan, Eilis and others. I would like to mention how very sexy they all are!

My last session, which I'm just back from was a very weird year. I knew nearly everyone there (OK, a lot of people there). I kept up the traditions - the feather boa to the last disco, the dress to the last disco, etc. It was so weird being a senior figure. Knowing that I was one of the oldies, one of those people who were looked to for leadership by those dognammed young 'uns (this is a horrible lie)! And such. It was a lot of fun. And yet... it wasn't right. There was something lacking. It wasn't like the other years where everyone would talk to everyone. People stuck to groups of people they knew until the last few days when mingling really kicked in. Maybe I'm just nitpicking, but it was lacking in something. Despite that, it was still as fun as ever (which is a hell of a lot of fun)! My class was pretty dull with the only exceptional "characters" being Hugh, Pod, Ronan and Jonah. Other than that, I have to mention Sarah (Willow) as she is the nicest and funniest person ever! I don't think anyone who saw the Not Poodle thing will ever forget it. And who could forget Stanley? Or the Gizmo song (Finbarr is the coolest person to live ever)? The food was terrible.

As you can all see. CTYI is amazing. And what's above is only the tip of the iceberg. I haven't mentioned HALF of the people who have managed to make it into my books of greatness! There is so much more that could be said! But it'll have to wait. I'm very tired right now.

(Back from long sleep) DEAR GOD?! Did I really write all that BS?! WTF?! Dear God!? If only I weren't so lazy I'd delete it all and go and think and type... so it stays. Oh well. Damn. I hate you. All. Grr!
